My online store is now open! Hundreds of people have been requesting a John Muir t-shirt, and now they can order their own from my little online shop. The illustration was the winner of Sierra Club’s John Muir t-shirt contest back in April of this year.
Order a shirt for yourself, your loved ones and co-workers. Choose from a variety of men’s and women’s fits; organic and regular fabrics; and many different colors. I’m even offering a large tote bag for your trips to the Farmers’ Market.
The store is powered by Printfection, a print-on-demand online company that takes care of the ordering, printing and shipping. This makes it easy for me because it frees up my time to create even more designs for my fans. When you click on the link to the store it will take you a different web site, but don’t worry, it’s totally legit.
Please contact me if you would like a color or fit that is not featured on the site (I like special orders). Happy shopping!
I have brand new business cards, finally. I went two whole months without any. I was incredibly embarrassed when I wrote my email on the back side of a prospect’s own card. From now on, I promise to the Marketing Fairy: I will never again go without this important networking tool.
Aesthetically, I used the same bright orange, font (Museo) and rounded corners on the new card to match this site. Plus the illustrated self-portrait—who says realtors are the only ones to put their face on their business card?
I love making logos. The research and sketches are my favorite part, and the most essential especially when I’m hired to do a complete re-branding for an organization or company. My favorite most recent identity challenge was for Sonoran Glass Art Academy. Here is just one snippet (out of the several pages) I pulled from my sketchbook.
The sketches morphed into these initial designs. The whole process was joyous, but there is nothing like the feeling of an approved logo–it’s like a never ending glass of lemonade in the middle of a Tucson summer. Check out the approved logo in my portfolio.
“An image … is not simply a trademark, a design, a slogan or an easily remembered picture. It is a studiously crafted personality profile of an individual, institution, corporation, product or service.”
