These wonderful pairs of feather earrings were handcrafted by Marya at Plume Featherware. They believe adornment and self-expression should be affordable, fun, natural, and practical. I agree! Her earrings are so lightweight and vibrant. I get complimented several times a day when I wear them. Plume’s philosophy includes providing progressive women an ethically produced product that highlights their natural beauty. Plume does not use feathers from birds grown or killed for their feathers alone. Plume Featherware also support the local economy and use as many renewable resources as they can.
I was first introduced Plume’s unique jewelry at a wedding set in the mountains in New Mexico. The bridal party wore custom earrings that played off and complimented their hair color and gown. The groomsmen and family also wore vibrant feather pins. The pieces were not only gorgeous, but they set the wedding party apart from the crowd and set the tone for the event.
I have three pairs that I love equally. I wanted to show my appreciation of Marya and her Plume creations. So I decided a desert sunset photoshoot was the least I could do.
